Join our Supported Studio to discover, develop and share your creativity with unique support
As an accredited day service provider with the Learning Disability day service, Brighton & Hove City Council we run dedicated Studio sessions for divergent, autistic people and people with a learning disability. Sessions are designed alongside each individual to support people to develop individual creative skills, knowledge of materials and confidence. We work closely with you to provide opportunities for you to learn, be ambitious and connect with other artists in our wide community.
Whats involved?
Joining the studio programme means you will have access to: ​

When are sessions?
Supported Studio sessions run weekly, over 3 terms throughout the year (44 weeks). You can sign up to as many terms as you like.
We ask for 2 months notice so we can guarantee spaces.

What does it cost?
The Supported Studio has 2 pathways:
1. Supported Studio Membership
£32 half day (10am - 12 or 1pm -3pm )
£60 full day (10am -3pm )
Activity: Developing own creative practice
Weekly sessions ongoing (44 a year)
Venue: Market or Blue room
Provision: Art materials, specialist creative support and tuition, opportunities and limited storage, desk/wall space to make work
2. Supported Studio Bursary Space
£16 half day (10 am -12 or 1pm - 3pm)
Activity: Developing own creative practice
Weekly sessions x 6 (rolling application subject to availability)
Venue: Market or Blue room (Phoenix)
Provision: Art materials, specialist creative support and tuition, desk/wall space to make work
